I really love this place. It's so cozy and just a 15 minute or so drive away from where I live. It's funny how its nestled in between flats. Like actual flats where people live. So. Cool. In Subang, you can never find cool hangout spots like this under your apartment buildings/ flats. (You can probably find lotsa stray cats and dogs and shady people and really rundown mamaks.) (Subang is a really happy and cheerful place I promise you) MOVING ON.
I'd have to say the place has this very chill vibe and is a pretty suitable place to hangout with your friends. I don't know if i recommend this place if you have a loud group of friends (my group of friends are pretty loud) (okay, they're very loud) (BUT I DON'T CARE) as the place is pretty quiet. I don't know I personally think restaurants/cafes are quiet in general. Except mamaks.
My friend Amanda (aka ma diaper bud) had their cappuccino (RM 7). There's nothing much to say about their cappuccino. She liked it. That my fellow kul cats, is a girl with so little words. (For a girl who is pretty loud)
Yum. I had the BBQ Pull-off Beef Sandwich (I guess I think that's what it's called, oh gosh) (RM16). It was super good. Although I think the beef wasn't as tender as I expected it to, it was super flavorful. Get this: Their fries were either baked/fried with, wait for it, rosemary. It added so much flavor. Thumbs up for that!
Everyone shared the crepes and unfortunately I only got to photograph the ever so yummy Strawberry Coconut Mille Crepe (RM 11). (Let me just run off topic for a bit. How do you guys pronounce "Crepe"? Is it "crep" or "creep" or "crape" *like crate*) I thought this crepe cake was pretty interesting. You could definitely taste the strawberries and then you go like "WHERE MA COCONUT AT?!" and then it hits you and you go "MMMMMMMYUM"
After talking and eating and laughing and more talking and gossiping, we decided to head on back to Subang. But then we got a better idea. We decided to explore the area a little. I have to admit the place is pretty photogenic. (Gosh I just realised I say "pretty" a lot).
Here are some pictures of ma homedawgs:
All in all, I had a really great day. I'm so glad that even though we rarely talk and meet up, we still have so much to talk about and we're all still really comfortable with each other. I guess once you befriend a group of people, whom you can consider true friends, you never really drift apart. (tasha why u so cheezy) (stop)
I guess you should just treat each day like your first and last. Explore every nook and cranny of every city and consider each day a gift to you and only you. Treasure it. C'est la vie!
For now, you can keep my can of beans for yesterday was a good day.
Peace out bamboozles,
Tash.
